Pies For Pete's Sake!

February 17th, 2012 marked the first anniversary of my Daddy's passing.  In some ways it doesn't seem like its been that long and in other ways it seems like he's been gone a lot longer.  Its funny how that works.  When I first started this business and started using the name "Pies For Pete's Sake" I wasn't sure what he'd think of it.  At that time, he was already experiencing some dementia and his Parkinson's had started taking its toll, but I think he was proud of me and proud that he was my inspiration.  If he were here today, I know that he would be my biggest cheerleader and on days when I get discouraged and want to give up, I remember that, in many ways, I'm doing this for him as well as for me.  Thank you, Daddy!  I love and miss you so much.
